single phase two speed lathe motor connections

i've got a rewound motor from a 2 speed single phase lathe

switchgear has been removed and connections to motor are three identical resistance windings
no centrifugal switch 32 mfd cap
can anyone help with connection diags??

Does the motor actually state two speeds and RPM's? Sounds more like a permanent split capacitor motor that has the leads out for reversing. Which is more applicable to a lathe than than two speeds!

Suggestion. The motor may have been rewired to three-phase motor. The best way is to contact the motor rewinder.

Jbartos has most likely gotten it right... what you may have is a three phase motor using a capacitor on one winding to make a start winding.

the motor is from an emco lathe and as you suggest looks as though it has been rewound for three phase

I'll get in touch with the rewinder after the hols and see what suggestions he has
