Hello Everyone,

I inputted a sine wave through a buffer which was connected to a spectrum scope. When i was running this sine wave- buffer scope setup i did not get the output i expected. The equation

samples per period = 2 * pi /(frequency * sample time)

doesnt seem to work they way it should if it comes to selecting samples per period and a sample time. If i use the sample time which was calculated the output is always wrong.
I dont understand whats going on. How can such a simple setup not give me any good results? I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks alot !

How exactly, is it "wrong?" And what purpose are you doing this for and why would you be grossly undersampling?
