Hi all, I am trying to build a hydraulic circuit which is driven by a mechanical force.
The scenario is I have a force pushing and pulling a cylinder rod. A flow rate and pressure is hence generated in the hydraulic circuit.
So, I firstly converted the S signal of the force into PS signal and feed it into an ideal force source. I then connect the output ports of this force source to the mechanical ports in the double acting actuator. I then connect the hydraulic ports with my hydraulic circuit.
I connected the circuit with hydraulic fluid block and solver block already but once I start the simulation, there is an error message.
I have attached my model could anyone please help me with this?
Many thanks!

Hello,
Try changing the initial position of the cylinder.

I am a bit new to matlab, but this worked for me.
