hi,

i have a wodden plank kept at an angle of 30 degrees from the ground, i keep a ball at the top edge of the plan, then obviously the ball would roll down along the length of the plank due to gravity?

i wanted to do this in pro.e, is it possible? and if yes how?

i do not knowthe mechanism and animation module

so a simple solution would be highly appreciable

thanks

Rohit

You can use mechanism. You will need to setup a cam follower by selecting the wooden plank surface and the round surfaces of the ball.

Will this take into account the inertia of the ball or will it assume the ball is sliding down the plank? Balls of different mass would slide down at the same rate, but balls rolling down would descend at different rates.
