Is there anybody who will suggest a simulation software package for ASU design.

Do you want to design your own ASU? Or are you facing some problems in your ASU and do you want to simulate them?
I'm not aware of these software packages.
I think that ASU Design engineers from company's such as Linde Engineering and AirLiquide will have their own software to design.
I know that some commisioning engineers of Linde have made some Excel programs to simulate control loops to be able to tune the loops.

This would be revamping our already existing air seperation plants and also new ASU project.
I know that Chemcad, ProII, ASPEN are used as simulation packages as design aids. However, I don't know the superiorities of each with respect to others. I'm seeking for a comparison and/or another sim package besides these three.

I know that the ASPENTECH software is well known in the industrie. Not only for ASU's but also for (petro)chemical industrie, pharmaceutical etc.
Personally I have no experiency with the ASPENTECH software myself. Same for Chemcad and ProII.

I would say ask a sales rep or an engineer from the 3 companies to come over to you company and let them give an presentation about their software.

Probably with the design of the new ASU project the ASU supplier can give you more info I think. Maybe they can help you with the revamping of your exsisting plants.

The problem is not finding the simulation package but obtaining good equilibrium constants. The air separation companies consider these proprietary. You may want to consider hiring those guys to model your columns...
