Dear all,
I want to simulate the correlation of micrustructures and properties using OOF2 Software.
First I Chose to simulate the heat Transfer. For that purpose I had a representative micrograph, set an elevated temperature at the bottom boundary to be constant and defined a time for which I want to simulate how the heat from the bottom "diffuses" into the material locally. The time was set 0.001 s.
What parameter ever (Time stepper and different imlicit, semi-explicit, explicit mathematic models) the simulation always stops at an early time due to an "Input error". Dependent on the details of the Parameters stopping happens at about 1e-6 s. But at this time most of the material is still at starting temperature..
Just as an Experiment I simplified the microstructure defining a parallel structure with the second Phase being a channel. But in that case the Simulation stopped early, as well.
What is "wrong"? How do I get ahead?
Thanks a lot
