Hi, you will want to use solution 601106, because the simulation would involve large rotation. Probably you can try to do it in the asymmetrical way too.

I'm back; I checked and tryed to use the nastran sol 601:106 but it dont give me a solution (zero solution)... Attached is the log generated when I run the Solve; Is a simple tryout of the app, two gears over a support, the two gears have pinned constrain over the central hole (mount hole) and the force is torque in one of the holes of one gear.
