Hello all,

I'd like to know how to go about simulating a thin rectangular fabric/cloth panel that would be rolled on and off a round tube as part of an assembly. Could this cloth be made slightly transparent? At the bottom of the panel would be a small extruded shape that would act as a weight. I've noticed Solidworks is able to simulate a motor and would like to incorporate this into the design along with proper gravity.

I'd also like to know how to create a compression spring.

Thanks

Try making your own texture... if you need it to stop a certain location you might have to create a split line on that part stop the texture from going on the entire model.
