Simplify Assy Grayed out 1

I'm still stuck on V19 - I tried to create a simplified assembly to then try and save as a part and export as dumb solid.

However, the 'simplify' toolbar is grayed out.

I'm pretty sure I've used it before, I thought at V19, any idea what's up?

Hi, you need to first activate the simplify environment, then the toolbar will become active.

I have not used V19 for a long while but I think from memory you do this under the application drop down menu.
