Hi guys,

I am currently getting myself familiar with Earthquake Design and am struggling to truly grasp the notion of corner periods when describing response spectra.

Can someone please provide a simple explanation of both T1 and T2?

FYI - I am designing to the Australian Standard AS1170.4.
