Simple analysis software

I am looking for a very basic (free if possible) software package for analyzing beams and simple 2d portal frames etc.

Does anyone know of anything like this available for download?

I would also like to recommend SteelTools.org website. Full of many great spreadsheets that people share, all open source, most run excel. Some/many of them have been written by contributing members here.
