Signal transfer from LabView

Is there a way to establish communication between MatLab and LabView and transfer an ultrasound scanned waveform (acquired in LabView) to MatLab for review and further processing? The signal comes from a National Instruments digitizer (not supported by MatLab) controlled by LabView.
