These modules are a distributed network that is either profibus, profinet, ASi, or IO-Link(not sure what this network is?). So your plc programming software can be anything that interfaces to these networks.

The ET200S can also use a Siemens processor instead of a Profibus interface. In that case the Siemens TIA portal software would be used.

ET200M and ET200S are Siemens brand remote I/O products which are mostly applied with S7 plcs.

Hence the software you need is STEP 7/TIA Portal
