Hello all;

I would like to show a coordinate system on a drawing but I can't seem to figure out how. I guess it's monday. Thanks to all who reply in advance.

Denny

Hey Denny,

You should be able to see the coordinate systems on the drawing and on the drawing print if you goto View->Display Settings->System Display... and ensure that the Coordinate Systems checkbox is checked in the dialog that appears. On our system, this is all thats required.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Adam,

It's not quite what I need though. I need it to display as though it's a dimensionable feature of the model. Unfortunately by just showing the coordinate system I cannot dimension from or to it. I do appreciate your feedback.

Denny

Hey Denny,

Well the only thing that I know of then is to create a datum plane (or set of datum planes) constrained to the desired coordinate system. You should now be able to dimension "off of" the coordinate system.

Hope this helps.
