Shore Hardness 2

Hi,

I have 2 elastomeric materials and need to compare their Hardness.

The problem is hardness of one material is given in Shore "A" scale and the other in Shore "D" scale.
I have searched the net and could not find conversion table.
Please help me.

Paramathma, there is no conversion table for °A to °D but they do overlap a little. The D scale is for measuring rubbers (e.g. ebonite) that are harder than about Shore A = 90.

As Graham noted, there's no direct comparision between the two tests as the indentors and the springs are different for the two instruments. There is some data on hardnesses tested by the two methods at
