Sheetmetal functions in an assembly?

Can i make sheet metal bends, after inserting the objects into an assembly?

I do not want the part copies to reflect these bends. Only the specific part i bend do i want to reflect this.

(background - there are multiple copies of my sheetmetal part in the assembly. I want them to bend at differing positions)

Hi,

no, that's not possible because the SM-functions are
not available as 'Assembly (only) Features' (V18).
Circumvention would be to create family of parts (FOP) or
just individual parts

Downside: instead of having only one part you have a couple of them

How about an adjustable part ?
It may be possible to generate the bent profile to follow the assembly.
