Newbie to inventor here, hope this isnt too basic. :(

trying to figure out how to create this sheetmetal feature.

i need to create a small hole that is dimple died.

basically its opening is .072, height is .035 with a major diameter of .100, in .0095 stainless.

HowTF do i do this??

edit: i've made a little progress.. i think.

other than i put it on the wrong side..

so now i have this dimple, but its not really a dimple.. more of an extruded feature....

how do i get a true dimple in here?????

I would think you could revolve a sketch, cutting or adding, but I don't know what'll happen in the flat pattern (if that matters to you).

Check out the punch tool. It will not flatten, but I think it's what you're looking for.
