Sheet Metal Design Program (Fold/Unfold)

Does anyone know if you can use the sheet metal design program to unfold an existing profile/sketch?

I know you can use the program to create a flat pattern and then bend up, but can you design from already bent to flat?

Yes. The sheetmetal package also had a Feature Recognition type application that can help if the part was not created using the sheetmetal package. I believe it's called Sheetmetal Production.

The Sheetmetal Production "Feature Recognition" icon worked, and allowed me to turn my already existing part (formed piece) into a flat sheet! I think I’m doing it right!
