Is there a way to create a bend allong a curve using the sheet metal tools. I need to curl up the curved edge of a sheet metal part. I can model it a regular solid, but is there a way that I can do it so I can still create a flat patern?

Check this thread559-84103 I think this will answer your question. What type of feature creates the curved edge?

SW cannot create a circular flange in its Sheet Metal module.

To be able to do that would involve the material being deformed (stretched & thinned) in certain areas & SW cannot handle that.
