I have a computer programe that calculates ultimate ple loads based on the Undrained Shear Strength value. The Geotechnical Investigation company only give me insitu shear vane values. Is there any fomuula that converts SV values into Cu values. any help would be appriciated

Thanks

If you don't know how to go between shear vane and CU then you shouldn't be designing piles. Talk with your geotechnical engineer to determine the best foundation design for you specific application.
