Wood stud wall framing.
Is there some way how to transfer the shear at offset walls as I show on attached pdf?

1) How to transfer the shear force from shearwall #1 to shearwall #2?

2) I need only shearwall at 1st floor, could i put the steel strongwall only up to the middle of high studs to align the top of the strongwall with 2nd floor diaphragm so the cutted studs will sit on top of the strongwall?

Looks like there is no solution for this.....

Looks to me that SW#2 has to act as a wall alone to transfer the shear from the roof to the foundation.

SW#1 has to at least transfer the floor load to the foundation, and it's portion of the roof too if it extends up to the roof.

From what I see from your sketch, you are correct to say that SW#1 and SW#2 cannot be linked with the floor diaphragm not present for SW#2.

A thought, they could be linked a little if there was an infloor plane diagonal strut placed from the upper end of SW#2 to the upper end of SW#1. Might work with some additional reinforcing and an additional strut perpendicular to the shear walls in the plane of the exterior wall corner wall. Just a thought, but a little wierd.
