Sharrow (Shared-lane Marking) Installation Guidance

Hi, Looking for some guidance on the installation of shared-lane markings (sharrows) for bicycles. MUTCD says sharrows should not be installed along roadways where the speed limit is above 35mph. If a roadway contains some segments that are 35mph or less and some that are greater than 35mph could the sharrow be installed on those lower speed segments? Or should sharrow only be installed on roadways where the entire length of the road is 35mph or lower?
