Hi, I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about shape factors. I've got an adsorption column (solid adsorbent in contact with a gas flow) and want to know what would give me a shape factor of 1? ex. beads, flat sheets, etc.

Thanks.

Here is a shape similar to ones we used on several different catalytic processes and adsorption systems. You can get some very good area to volume ratios.

When you go to the MECS website click through the slide show manually until you come to the catalyst picture.
