ShakeMap

Has anyone messed around with installing ShakeMap on their own system (

http://usgs.github.io/shakemap/index.html)?

I was able to do this, in order to create my own earthquake scenarios for research, etc.
The product outputs nice maps of shaking intensity etc, but in image / PDF format. Luckily I discovered ShakeMap4-web (

https://github.com/INGV/shakemap4-web)

which is a utility that can display the generated maps in an interactive map format similar to the USGS Event maps (eg:

https://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/eventpage/nc73897551/map).

Unfortunately, I am unable to get it to show my events. Maybe a longshot here, but perhaps someone else has tried this procedure and I can pick your brain on how to get this to work.
