settings and process for mig welding aluminum

We ar trying to weld .125 aluminum to .187 aluminum with a miller 250x mig and a spoolmatic 15 gun and we are having a hard time getting a clean straight even weld.

Recommended for you

First you should be using 100% argon gas. Voltage on base should be around 19 volts to start,tweek as needed.If you are using .035 dis. wire gun speed should be around 5. If you are using .045 dia. wire around 3. When porammertes are correct. You should be in a high spary transfer. Tweek example if to much bite reduce voltage and wire keeing in spray transfer at all times. Not enough bite reverse process. Good luck.
