Setting up XREF locations, template implementation and PDF generation

I am currently trying to use some files from AutoCAD and these files are set up to automatically import the title blocks, outlines and my question is how to set up the XREF locations and such in order to have it import as it should?

On a side note, is it possible to output a text searchable PDF file from Draftsight?
