I found ProgeCad, which seems to be a genuine AutoCAD clone. Perpetual license - NOT SUBSCRIPTION.

The story I heard was that AutoDesk sued them and THEY won. It seems that they wrote the underlying engine that AutoCAD uses. 2D only, but that's all I need at home after WIN 10 refused to touch AutoCAD 2000.

Bricscad is similar and not expensive
Does 2d and 3d... and not subscription based
No learning curve as all commands are similar to Autocad.

Why not Draftsight?

Some of us are still using 2018 SP3. Meets my home needs.
