Does anyone have experience with modeling human tissue in Abaqus? I'm specifically interested in damage modeling on a millimeter length scale, but I'm uncertain of the parameters I should set for material behaviors. Any suggestions or pointers on where to start looking is appreciated

Which type of human tissue do you want to analyze ? They have very different properties. For example bone and soft tissue (like skin) modeling requires different approaches. Depending on the type of tissue you may have to use hyperelastic material. I recommend searching for books about biomechanics. They often contain detailed description of mechanics of various tissues.
