Dear Friends
Could you please advise me what is the meaning of Set-Through type Nozzle in this statement"All Nozzle and manholes shall be designed as set through type with double welded ,inside and outside"

For Set In ( Set Through) construction ,nozzle neck is inserted through vessel shell , for Set On type of construction nozzle neck is abutting the vessel wall.
If you are using ASME code, please have a look at Fig
UW 16.1(c),(d) ,(e) which shows Set In (Set-Through) type with welding from both sides.
Set-Through or Set In nozzle construction is preferred by majority of clients over set on type of nozzle construction.
