Hi all, I'm new to the industry and have a question on methods of injecting pressure to a downhole tool.

On average, what would be the cost per foot for injecting through tubing, coiled tubing, and drill pipe? Other than wireline, are there other ways of transferring pressure downhole?

Thankyou!

The objective is going to dictate what conveyance method is required. These services are usually charged by the hour or by a day rate. There will also be minimum job charges and mobilization charges.

I would expect the costs to be (highest to lowest) drill pipe, coiled tubing, and then tubing. A drilling rig daily spread cost will be 10 times the pulling unit spread cost, so it seems likely that the cost to convey would be higher.

You could also use a capillary string (1/4" or 3/8") tubing to transmit pressure down the hole.

This question is really too broad to answer. What are you trying to accomplish?
