Is anybody aware of a guideline for when LRFR/LRFD service III "should" be considered for prestressed concrete load ratings for permit loads? Seems like it should be a function of truck frequency and weight.

Our state Bridge Manual calls for Service III checks under Service Loads. Permit Loads would not need to be checked here.
