Hi I would like to check if it is ok to use ducted type for serving aircon to the server room. I thought mostly are crac unit, where one working and one standby.
If the design is already ducted, will it post any serious issue.

Please advise and thanks.

not really much to go on here. Here is a list of questions off the top of my head:
[ul]
[li]what sort of unit is it?[/li]
[li]is there only one unit?[/li]
[li]How much load is there in the space?[/li]
[li]Is the unit sized appropriately?[/li]
[li]How is the ducting arrange? if multiple units, are there any single points of failure?[/li]
[li]what are the owners requirements?[/li]
[/ul]

The last item should not be overlooked, get clear direction from your client of what level of redundancy they want from the cooling system and that will very quickly lead to your final solution.
