Hello,
The EU7 specifies F<R equilibrium for pile design where R is the resistance having two components, one from the base and one from the shaft. For example, the base resistance should be divided by a base factor, gammab. There are tables for selection of these factors except there is another factor called "model factor, gammaRd" that EU7 specifies that it may come from the national annex. So ideally, the base resistance should be divided by gammab and gammaRd. The model factor covers the uncertainty in resistance model.
I've done some research and for example, the Irish National Annex (NSAI, 2005)recommends 1.75 for gammaRd while in Austria it's 1.3. My question is what is this "model factor" in Serbia? I've googled quite a lot but could not find the national Annex of Serbia. By any chance, if anyone knows the link to the Serbian national Annex or knows the answer to my question (with hopefully a reference), I'd really appreciate your advice. Thanks
