Designing a sand mound septic system in an area of high clay soil with low perc rates. I am having trouble finding a pump curve to match my design - 10' Head and 20 gpm or so. Also, should I spec a grinder pump? The pump will be handling effluent from the septic tank so in theory there should not be any solids, however the distribution pipes only have 1/4" perforations. Does anyone have experience with these systems? Thanks.

Your 10' of head seems low for 20 gpm. For these systems, you'll need effluent pump only. Check out the NYSDOH septic design handbook, they have good examples on how to design these systems.
