Hello Everybody !!!

Normally,Benzene is nitrated with Nitric Acid 98 % Concentration & in the Presence of 96 % Sulphuric Acid to produce MonoNitrobenzene which is called NB.Water is also produced in the reaction. To wash the crude NB washers are used.

Can Any one tell me that How to reduce Acidity Carry over from Nitration Circuit to Washers & How to reduce the Unreacted Benzene % to washers ?

Thanks in Advance...!!
