sensors and thier calibration

hi
i'm working in the instrumentation field, and sometimes i encounter some problems with the calibration of these sensors and the other instruments.i need to know more about these things,so can anyone tell me about any book or site that may benefit me,thanks.

vendors usually have a good section on theory in their instruction manuals. they are frequently on their web-sites

search the google on "reverse calibration". The statistical background I found in Draper&Smith "Applied Regression Analysis", Wiley but surely there are many more.
