Does anyone know where to find semiconductor grade steel that meets the SEMI F20 UHP specification. Its basically 316L with some additional chemistry and inclusion content requirements.

I've found a few places that will make it, but I do not want to commision a mill run. Does anyone know of a distributor of smaller quantities.

Thanks,

Jeremy

I have need high prurity stainless steel in the past for corroion resistance applications. I went to Alleghney and Outokumpu and was able to cherry pick mill certs and found what I needed in small quantities. Might work since both make very good, high quality heats.

For remelted you are probably stuck with Cartech and Universal.
What product form are you looking for?

I'm looking for round bar, 3/8" dia. or so. Anything larger could work too, I'll just centerless grind down to my target dia.

I can't find material with this spec anywhere, in any form. Everyone wants to sell a mill run...
