Selecting multiple components within the restructure command

Does anyone know if it is possible to set Pro-E to have the ability to select multiple components with the restructure command. I got a HUGE assy here that needs MAJOR restructuring. Whoever did this assy just put everything in willy nilly with no time spent thinking about how the components are assembled. It is really just hardware but nothing was made with patterns and the assembly is so big that the repeat command even takes forever. My problem is that hardware for subassemblies was inserted at the top level. I think I already know the answer to this one, I'm just hoping that I am wrong.

Why don't you try? You don't have to save the assembly after all.

I haven't been able to move multiple compenents. Restructuring is a great command, but combersome right now. You have to do one at a time, and you have to re-enter the command each time.
Might be a good candidate for a mapkey.
Hopefully they'll refine it soon.

Hora & davidinindy,

I posted a a query that Hora answered for me a few days ago regarding the RESTRUCTURE command (thread554-178539). I was asking about a command I knew from a CAT bespoke package (Fluid Lines) that had been developed with/alongside PTC that did hydraulic hose routings. The teleport command was able to move both parts and assemblies into different assemblies (I forgot to mention that whole assemblies could be teleported). So from that, it is possible, it just seems that PTC haven't attached the functionality to ProE itself. (There may be copyright/intellectual issues)

Thats what I was afraid of. Thanks anyway everyone. It wouldn't be an issue and I'd just reinsert hardware but none of the hole "patterns" were made with "patterns". It seems strange that multiple selection functionality could not be incorporated into the command.
