Can anyone provide any guidance on design procedure differences between a Maximum Credible Earthquake and Maximum Probable Earthquake. The california reg's distinguish the 2, but provide no design guidance for either as far as I can tell.

Check the vulcanhammer website, with all USACE publications, especially the one on soil dynamics.

Also, check Geotechnical Earthquake Enginnering from Kramer.
