Seismic R values for a covered patio with mixed, steel ordinary moment frame and CMU shear wall 1

I'm designing a detached covered patio with steel ordinary moment frame and CMU shear wall. The rafters are supported by a steel beam on one side and a CMU wall on the other side (see diagram).
So my question is what R value should I use to design the CMU wall and the steel frame? Thank you so much.

I believe that the CMU and steel frames both constitute their own, lateral framing lines and can, thus, each use their own respective R-values per ASCE7

I second this. Specifically ASCE 7-16 Section 12.2.3.3 has an exception that For RC I or II, Two stories or less, and Light frame/Flexible Diaphragms, then the R value can be taken on each independent line of resistance.

Agreed with KootK, specifically reference the EXCEPTION under ASCE 7-16: 12.2.3.3 for using R-values for individual lines of resistance
