Seismic Expansion Joint for Branch FF Pipes

Dear Experts,
I was wondered if there is any requirement about minimum / maximum which size of branch pipe it is required to apply seismic expansion joint at the dilatation part of buildings.
Is there any reference about this topic in the NFPA?

9.3 in the 2016 edition is seismic. Check through that for better clarification.
