We are using a seismic decoupling criteria of 25:1, where if the branch pipe to run pipe moment of inertia ratio is 25:1, we seismically decouple the branch from the run in the run pipe analysis. However, the branch pipe analysis apparently needs the seismic spectra input specifically for the run/branch interface. Is there any piping analysis software that can provide the response at the run/branch interface? We use AutoPIPE.

Can I ask why you need to decouple the main line from the branches? Is this a code requirement?
The movement of the main at the connection can have huge effect on the branch loads.
PC power is cheap, why not just run a whole model?
