I am looking for published refernece information on typical unit weights of soils placed hydraulically, specifically silty clays used for a sediment cap in a lake, for a settlement analysis. Im using (95-110)lb/ft^3 now. Any help would be great.

Thanks

Go to my web page, see link below. Then go to the "Steel Sheet Piling & H-Piles" page. Download "US Steel Sheet Piling Design Extracts" and look at "Table 10" (page 12 of the .pdf document). A value of 80 lb/ft^3, for clay, is given by this reference. This information is old, but may be of some help.
