secure and normal supplies

I know that instrumentation usually runs off a secure supply and any heaters, lights etc would run off an auxillary supply.My question is Can you interchange these and have heaters etc running from a secure supply and instruments from an auxillary or have both ie heaters and instruments both running from a secure supply or both running from an auxillary supply?

Few people, if any, are going know what your terminology or industry is. I would hazard a guess that altering the supply configuration violates the rationale for separating them.

a simple electrical heater would probably not require a backup (secure ?) electrical supply (if the primary power went down, it is unusual to require a backup heater power supply when there would be no power to the control circuit or to the instrument (sensing) electronics.

If a "secure" power means a filtered or UPS-backed power supply, again - There is little logic to "protecting" a simple heater against power surges or lightening strikes or loss of power until the more sensitive electronics and controls are backed up and protected. Back Up power is expensive, in general, no company is going to pay for the maintenance and extra wiring and controls expense of BU secure power supplies unless they have to.
