Section problem

In an assembly environment the parts behind mix up the section view.
In the figure below is it possible to have the section view for only the red rectangular window only?
(Green line: Section center line, Red Window where I want to restrict as section area)
How can I do that?

make the section from your top view

duplicate the top view

in the 2d top view, create a breakout view showing only your red zone

then apply the breakout to your section

Actually I followed your steps one by one but couldn't achieve my goal.
Can you see the attachment and describe one by one from this new example?

you made a break out on the solid you want to keep... you should do the opposite:

the other option is to use 3D clipping from the section... check RMB
