Hello,
This may be an extremely basic question but Am I correct in assuming that the seat of a conventional psv is made up of the nozzle, disk and guide?

Thanks

For metal seated PRV, the Nozzle is the fixed part of the seat. The disc or disc insert forms the moveable part of the seat. If you use an O-Ring the same applies but the ring is actually the seat normally part of the disc design.

Per ISO-4126, only the term Safety Valve is used regardless of application or design.
