Hi everybody! Does someone know if Solid Edge V20 have a tool for converting surface model to solid model which is solid entirely under the surface model? I have tried the Thicken –tool but it only makes “thin walls” inside the surface. I tried also Replace face –tool for solid protrusion (Replacing solid faces to look like surface faces) but that won´t work either. I know that some programs have the feature/tool which fills the surface model inside (for example CATIA has this feature) but is this missing from Solid Edge V20? Many thanks for your help!

No it's not missing, just done a bit different, look at Boolean operations.

Sometimes you have to protrude a 'block' then subtract the surface shape from it.

Posting guidelines faq731-376 (probably not aimed specifically at you)
What is Engineering anyway: faq1088-1484

If the surfaces form a fully enclosed box, you can use the stitch command to unite them into a solid.
