no, you can't add them where you want them to be. The only
thing you can do is to add them to the QAT. Just select them
and RMB --> Add to QAT.
BTW: you have to individually customize the QAT for each
environment ...

Do you have any idea why they won't istall out of the can ??
they have never been there, but other pcs have them. I am so use to going to the top menu's from the older versions

Also do you know how to completely romove all of SE files so I can try to reinstall the program?? when I remove the program and re install it still has all the same missing and icons I have added in the same places ??/ any clue?

What is the resolution of your PC Monitor? SE is set up to detect wide screen monitors and add more options if there is space.

Sorry Burhop Res is 1600 x 900. Is it possible there is a setting not right to make it think there is the wrong Res setting ??

By the way Thanks dy for your help as well

I'd think you'd need to clean up the registry. Solid Edge installs always leave stuff there.

As for your question,

Siemens PLM, when they adopted the Ribbon bar, decided that customization would be done only through the QAT.

In effect, most of us have been asking the same question as you ever since.

IC Gemnoc I will look into the registry thing. Need a PC Expert for that part

Ok Guys I did the Reg Clean after uninstalling and when I re installed got the same thing, So I renamed the SolidEdge file under User in reg and re installed again and it did load up new this time but still missing the Oreint menu
any thoughts ??
Thanks Whodini

I'm not under Windows atm, refresh my memory... what's the orient menu? Is that the one where you choose the different standard views? (front, side, iso, etc.)

If it is what you're looking for, it's now at the bottom right of the screen, under an icon.

It is the Icon group Zoom Area, Fit, Previous view, Common View,Etc. in other systems all running windows 7 it is on the home tab to the far right, But on my system it doesn't show up. hope this clarifies things I know I can add it to the QM and it is in the bottom right corner but for years it's been up top and I am still lost when trying to find it and really slow me down

Ok guys i did find out what the issue is apparently the reason for missing toolbar menus is like Burhop said earlier my resolution 1600 x 900 is not high enough to show all the Toolsbars
Thanks for all your imput
