I'm new to Solid Edge, but am in the process of modeling a telephoto zoom lens of a camera. I need to animate the rotary motion of twisting the zoom ring to result in the increased length of the extender. Is it possible to do this in Solid Edge? If so, what relations would I need to create?

Thanks.

Could you maybe use a linear motor and rotary motor together?

Sorry I don't do that kind of motion much in SE.

Posting guidelines faq731-376 (probably not aimed specifically at you)
