Hie, Am new to this forum. I have been in the Water Industry for two years now working as a Planning and design Engineer and I wish to go for further studies. I wish to apply for a scholarship to study. Does anyone out there have any funding bodies in mind that offer competitive scholarships?

What country are you in?

What state or province or county of that country are you in?

This will effect the answers you get.

Kenat, Am in Malawi. I wish to go for further studies either in the UK, USA or some other European country. Do you have any ideas?

Check with the schools you are interested in attending. They deal with financial aid packages (national and international) constantly and should be able to help you get some direction. Your government may also have some programs available.

Regards,

If you come to germany to make a doctorate, you get a 3 year contract and get payed about 1500 to 2000 euros per years. And there are no university fees...

ahh and I forgot... University level of german is not a requisite... at least not allways. I've met people Doing doctorates IN GERMAN that couldn't buy bread in the store. They got 1 year time to achive the needed language level. And got payed in the meantime.
